Last night was a closing party for the final skating session at Fuji Ice Palace. Leonard, Charissa, Karen and I put in a coaches item for the performance. It went pretty well, given we had managed to skate together just 2 times before the performance. I didn't take videos yesterday, but I'm sure somebody did and would share it...
Jurong East Entertainment Center is scheduled to re-open in October 2009, with a new full-size rink in it. Though exciting, it will be a brand new experience for all skaters, and meanwhile, this rink will remain a fond memory to many of us.
On a more personal note, yesterday was the first time in 16 months that I have put on a skating dress!
