A Matter of Perspective

This morning when I got to the rink, a little 5-year-old skater pretended to hide behind the boards, jumped up and yelled "BOO!" She loves to scare me!

I have also noticed that her elder sister (who has been in Canada) is back this week. So, I asked her, "Are you happy your sister is back?", and she replied, "Yes!" She did look quite happy, and initiated another conversation with me...

Little skater: How old are you?
Me: Can you guess?
Little skater: Fourteen?
Me: Fourteen? That's so young!
Little skater: Oh, you are older than my sister!

This little girl always makes me smile!
